Walsall’s Joe Edwards is a former teammate of Leeds United defender Luke Ayling.

Walsall’s Joe Edwards has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Leeds United defender Luke Ayling is the best right-back outside of the Premier League.
Edwards, who can operate as a midfielder or as a full-back, played with Ayling at Yeovil Town.
The 26-year-old believes that Ayling, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, is the best right-back outside of the Premier League.

Ayling has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Championship rivals Bristol City.
According to both ITV and Bristol247.com, the West Yorkshire outfit had to pay City £750,000 as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old.
The right-back played in 42 Championship matches for Leeds last season, providing three assists in the process.
Ayling is one of the best and most important players in the current Leeds team, and the Englishman will have to be consistently on top of his game this season if the Whites are to finish in the top six of the Championship.
