Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers beat Partick 2-1 on the weekend.

Joe Dodoo has told Rangers’ official YouTube channel that he enjoys playing alongside team-mate Kenny Miller.

Rangers came from a goal down to beat Partick Thistle on Saturday, with the 21-year-old striker – who was introduced on the hour mark – equalising on 81 minutes and then grabbing a dramatic winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Miller, who started alongside Joe Garner up front, set up both goals for the Gers’ summer signing, who broke his duck in the Premiership at the ninth time of asking.

And the former Leicester City striker said afterwards that he is loving life playing alongside the veteran forward.

“Kenny and I both hate losing and even in training we always have to win every game – and we always do,” Dodoo said to Rangers’ YouTube channel. “It is great to play with Kenny, he knows my movement and he gave me some fantastic passes.

“I know what Kenny is going to do and for the first goal, for him to give me that kind of ball was fantastic vision from him.

“To strike it first time was the only way I was going to score because if I took a touch the defender was going to close me down. I saw I had to take a shot, and thankfully it went in.”

It was Mark Warburton’s side second successive Premiership win and they seem to be gathering a little bit of momentum.

That being said, Rangers, who sit second behind Celtic, won’t expect to finish higher than their current position, with the Bhoys – who have two games in hand – already eight points ahead of them.
