The 2016 Rangers recruit was allowed to leave Ibrox by Steven Gerrard in August.

Joe Dodoo has claimed that a desire to work with one of his former managers is one of the reasons he chose to join Bolton Wanderers after leaving Glasgow Rangers.
Dodoo was released by Rangers ahead of the summer transfer deadline, a year before his Ibrox deal was due to expire.
That allowed the striker to move freely outside of the window. And, after weeks of speculation, the 2016 Rangers recruit finally became a Bolton player on Thursday.
The switch sees Dodoo reunited with David Flitcroft, the Trotters assistant manager who signed him for Bury a year before he arrived at Ibrox.
And speaking to his new club’s official website, the Ghanaian said: “I am extremely happy to have signed with Bolton Wanderers.
“I have worked with David Flitcroft before and having left Rangers, I wanted to link back up with him to get some guidance, get game time and play for this big club.
“Flicker (Flitcroft) and the manager (Keith Hill) are building something special here and I want to be a part of the rebuilding process and get this club back to where it needs to be.”

Dodoo only played 27 times for Rangers’ first team – scoring just five goals.
The 24-year-old is already familiar with England’s third tier, having spent the past two seasons on loan to Charlton Athletic and Blackpool, respectively.
