Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have loaned out Joe Dodoo for the season.

Glasgow Rangers striker Joe Dodoo has told the Blackpool Gazette that he needs to assess his future at Ibrox at the end of the season.

Steven Gerrard allowed Dodoo to leave Rangers soon after taking over, and the striker has gone on to impress at Blackpool.

And Dodoo suggests that his focus is not on Rangers right now, as he wants to be solely concentrating on Blackpool.

“I play for Blackpool and I’ve got to concentrate on playing for Blackpool until the season is done, then we will go from there,” Dodoo said.

“But until then, I’m a Blackpool player and I’ve got to concentrate on playing for Blackpool.”

Dodoo has hit four goals in his 11 appearances for Blackpool to date, and he hit the back of the net at the weekend.

The youngster may well be struggling to get back into Rangers’ team when he does return to Ibrox though.

Gerrard already has Kyle Lafferty and Alfredo Morelos to pick from up-front, and is thought to be on the look out for another striker in January.

Dodoo may well be surplus to requirements back in Glasgow, meaning Blackpool could have a chance of making the move a permanent one, if they do submit a bid at the end of the season.
