The Rangers striker was allowed to leave Ibrox on loan by Steven Gerrard this summer.

The loaned-out Rangers striker, Joe Dodoo, has vowed to be “back soon” after being spotted wearing a foot brace earlier this week.
Dodoo, who is due to spend the rest of this season away from Rangers at Blackpool, twisted his ankle shortly after he scored the Seasiders’ second goal in a 3-2 win against Solihull Moors on Tuesday.
Speaking after the match, the striker’s manager, Terry McPhillips told the Blackpool Gazette: “He’s just landed on his ankle and twisted his ankle, we won’t know until tomorrow how bad that is.
“That’s disappointing because I thought he was a real threat and, to be fair, after he went off things started to go pear-shaped for us.”
But posting on social media the following evening, the Rangers-owned player said:
Dodoo’s goal was his sixth in 17 games since returning south from Ibrox, where he has another 18 months left on his contract.
The 23-year-old scored five times in 27 Rangers outings prior to that, and endured a difficult spell at Charlton Athletic last season.

Whether the Gers can recall Dodoo in the January transfer window – and indeed, whether they would want to – remains to be seen.
