The 24-year-old reportedly wants Newcastle United move.

According to The Chronicle’s Live Blog [23/07/2018 18:39], Joe Bryan is “keen” to join Newcastle United this summer.
The Sun reported last week that Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez liked the Bristol City left-back and wanted him as competition for Paul Dummett at St James’s Park.
And the feeling might be mutual as The Chronicle’s Live Blog [23/07/2018 18:39 claims that the 24-year-old would be interested in signing for the Magpies, if a “deal can be brokered”.
The Telegraph reported earlier this summer that Bryan – who has a year to go on his contract at Ashton Gate – could be available for around £6 million, making him something of a steal in the modern market.
Bryan, who scored five Championship goals from left-back last term, enhanced his reputation with a series of fine performances in the Robins’ exciting League Cup run, against Manchester United and Manchester City in the semi-finals.
Dummett, who spent half of last season on the sidelines, could use the competition and someone of Bryan’s ilk could be a serious threat to the Welshman next term.
He started 42 of City’s 46 games in the second tier last season.
