The Rangers midfielder has settled in nicely at Ibrox, becoming an immediate regular in Steven Gerrard’s squad.

Joe Aribo has responded to claims by his former manager Lee Bowyer that Rangers is not the right place for him to progress.
Aribo signed a four-year deal with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers after his Charlton Athletic contract expired at the end of last season.
The Rangers midfielder was also said to have offers from English clubs, including Brentford, but his decision to join the Gers already appears to have been justified.
Since heading to Ibrox, Aribo has already tasted Europa League football and won his first cap for Nigeria.
And asked if those things vindicate his choice, the 22-year-old told the official Rangers Youtube channel: “Yeah, I feel like what comes with (the move) is good and it shows why I came to the club. Playing in competitions like (the Europa League) it just shows it.
“Getting those accomplishments (international call-ups), it shows why I’ve come here and what I want to be doing with my career.
“You can see how big those (Old Firm) games are and I just want to be a part of it.”
Asked how he has been able to achieve those things so soon, Aribo added: “The coaching staff, they’ve helped me.
“They speak to me daily and just help me improve off the pitch.”

Discussing his previous comments on Talksport earlier this month, the Charlton manager Bowyer reiterated: “Ideally, he would have stayed with us and had a year with us. He would have kept learning here. But it’s done now. He’s chosen to go there.
“He’ll learn from Steven Gerrard, I have no doubt. But everyone’s just got to be patient with him. He’s a young lad. Last season was his first full season, playing week-in week-out. He’s had a big move to a big club with big expectations.
“Joe’s a family man. His dad’s a pastor at the local church. They’re religious. So he misses his family, I bet. He’s in a completely different place now to where he would have been. If he’d have gone to Brentford or stayed with us, then he’d have been close to his family and his life would have been a lot easier.
“But he’s made that decision and he will adapt, I have no doubt. He’s a good lad and a good footballer. But it might just take a little bit of time.”
Aribo marked his Nigeria debut with a goal, adding to the four he has scored in 14 games for Rangers this season.
