Joe Allon suggests that Dwight Gayle will score for Newcastle United for Nottingham Forest in the Championship this evening.
Joe Allon has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Dwight Gayle will score 30 goals for Newcastle United this season.
Gayle joined Championship club Newcastle from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
According to The London Evening Standard, the Magpies had to pay Palace a transfer fee of £10 million in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old striker.
The 25-year-old striker has been in superb form so far this season, and has scored 13 goals and created 14 chances in 14 Championship appearances for Rafael Benitez’s side.
Former Newcastle forward Allon believes that Gayle will score as many 30 league goals this season.
The 50-year-old has also predicted the Magpies to win against Nottingham Forest on Friday evening.
Newcastle will take on Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Championship this evening.
Newcastle are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 40 points from 18 matches.
Benitez’s side are two points clear of second-placed Brighton & Hove Albion in the standings.
