Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen has told Sky Sports that it wasn’t a difficult decision to leave Liverpool.
The midfielder joined the Potters earlier this summer, with Mark Hughes’ side paying £13 million for his services.
His move came after he impressed for Wales, playing a key run in their sensational run to the semi finals of Euro 2016 this summer.

Game time was likely to be hard to come by at Anfield though, with Jurgen Klopp preferring Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and James Milner in central midfield last season.
And he has admitted that the decision to move to Stoke was not a difficult one for him to make.
“It wasn’t a difficult decision to move and I’m not looking back with any regrets,” he told Sky Sports.
“I’m excited about the future in my career. I look back and I’ve got fond memories. It was a huge privilege to play for a club like Liverpool but the timing was right for me to move on.”
Liverpool’s Joe Allen
It now remains to be seen if Allen can help Stoke to take the next step in their development under Hughes’ guidance.
The Potters are a long cry from the long ball, physical side of the Tony Pulis era, with them now very much a footballing side under Hughes, courtesy of players such as Bojan and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Allen is the latest signing that fits that mould and it will be interesting to see if he proves to be a successful signing.
