In his response, Buckley highlighted the knockout that earned him widespread recognition and boosted his visibility within the promotion.

Buckley also addressed the broader topic of MMA fighters competing under the Zuffa Boxing banner. He suggested that the idea should not be dismissed.
“It ain’t nothing personal, bro — but if you don’t think MMA fighters have a place in Zuffa Boxing, I believe you’re mistaken.“
The welterweight then turned his attention to one of White’s boxing affiliates.
