Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is no stranger to disciplinary action.
Whether it’s for inflammatory comments during a post-match interview, or touchline conduct, the Portuguese has often found himself in hot water during his managerial career.
And Mourinho is now in trouble again. Kind of.
The Tottenham head coach has been handed a suspended one-match ban by UEFA following their Europa League defeat by Antwerp last month.
The game, which Spurs lost 1-0, kicked off late and Mourinho has been deemed the culprit.
But the 57-year-old will still be allowed to attend the Lilywhites’ next game in this competition – a visit of Ludogorets on November 26 – after UEFA’s control, ethics and disciplinary body added that the ban was to be ‘deferred for a probationary period of one year’.

Mourinho’s side lost 1-0 in Belgium on the night and the two-time Champions League winner slated his team’s performance after the game, after making four substitutions at half-time.
