West Ham United midfielder Joao Mario isn’t thinking about Inter Milan.

West Ham United midfielder Joao Mario has been quoted by Football Italia as saying that he is happy with the club and isn’t thinking about parent club Inter Milan.
Mario, 25, was a star with Sporting in his native Portugal before impressing at the 2016 European Championships, and that earned him a big money move to the San Siro with Inter.
After showing promise last season, Mario had been linked with a move to the Premier League, but a disappointing campaign under Luciano Spalletti saw him loaned out to West Ham United in January.

Seen as something of a coup for the Hammers, Mario hasn’t quite hit the heights expected of him so far, contributing one assist and no goals in his five Premier League appearances.
West Ham’s Premier League status is likely to be a key factor in whether or not they pursue a permanent deal for Mario this summer, but it seems unlikely they will splash the cash on him this summer.
However, Mario himself appears to be enjoying his time at the London Stadium, and has been quoted by Football Italia as saying that he is happy with his move to England.

Mario added that Inter are in the past now, and he isn’t thinking about the Italian giants as he is happy with West Ham – but he may well find that the Hammers aren’t quite so happy with him so far.
“I’m in a new league and I’m trying to adapt quickly,” said Mario. “I’m happy with my new adventure and I hope to finish the season well. Inter are part of my past now. I could have played more, but football is about that too. Now I’m happy and that’s what matters most,” he added.
