Joao Felix has said that Chelsea central defender Thiago Silva has “really surprised” him at the club.
Felix has said on Chelsea’s YouTube channel that before he came to Chelsea, he already knew that Thiago Silva was a top player.
The 23-year-old Portugal international forward, who joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, has noted that the Brazilian defender does things in training and on the pitch that really amazes him.
Thiago Silva, who is £110,000 per week (Spotrac), recently signed a new contract with Chelsea.

Felix said about Thiago Silva: “Very good. I was surprised when I came here.
“I already knew that he was a top player, but training with him everyday, I saw something different in him. I was really surprised that way he plays, he is calm on the field.”

That the Brazil international is still a regular in the team at the age of 38 shows just how good he is.
