Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Sampdoria centre-back.

Sampdoria ace Joachim Andersen spoke exclusively to Dutch media outlet Elf Voetbal, and suggested that it is very nice to hear rumours linking him with a switch to big European clubs such as Tottenham.
The Independent reported yesterday that the 22-year-old is ‘likely’ to sign for Spurs in the summer, whilst the same newspaper suggested that the north London outfit were plotting a £35 million move for the centre-back last month.
Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld could leave the club this summer, when his £25 million release clause becomes activated, so Mauricio Pochettino will undoubtedly be on the look-out for a top class replacement.
And Andersen would be just the ticket.
The 6ft 4in Dane spoke exclusively to Dutch media outlet Elf Voetbal, and shared where he is currently at regarding his future, as rumours regarding a switch continue to circle:

“Everyone is asking me at the moment where I am going. Of course I also get it that big clubs would be interested in me and that is very nice to hear, but at the moment it is not the time to talk about a new club, I am proud to play for Sampdoria and I want to do everything we can to put ourselves in the Europa League.”
A lot can obviously happen between now and the summer, but if Tottenham do manage to sign the Sampdoria ace, it could turn out to be a really significant piece of business for the north Londoners.
