Rangers manager Steven Gerrard wants his players to take responsibility for their futures.

The Ibrox club have made eight signings since the end of last season, packing their squad with talent they feel can help them progress and improve over the next 12 months.
Only a handful of recognised first-team talent has headed in the other direction, but the Gers boss believes that the squad will be thinned out over the next six weeks.
As quoted by The Daily Record, Gerrard said: “In terms of outgoings – yes, we’ve had a few enquiries and I predict there will be players going the other way.
“However, it depends on what the players want. I can’t really control whether they want to stay here or find themselves a different challenge.
“That’s up to the players.”
There are clear candidates for an exit, before even considering any potential interest in the team’s star players such as Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier.
Kyle Lafferty and Graham Dorrans are both experienced players who have not been involved at all in pre-season, both of them left behind while the club took part in a training camp in Portugal last month.
The Daily Record reported that Lafferty could be heading to Thailand.
With flop signing Eros Grezda also missing from the Portuguese preparations, he’s unlikely to have a future either.

Jason Holt is another on the books who looks to be on his way out, having been sent out on loan last season and been entirely absent from preparations this summer.
There have been reports in The Scottish Sun he could make the switch to QPR.
Getting rid of all four would lessen the load on the wage bill and there could even be scope for departures to free up enough money to make one or two more signings that are wanted at Ibrox.
Their exits would also ensure that Gerrard has a dressing room full of players all pulling in the same direction this season.
There can’t be any room for passengers when hunting for trophies.
