Swansea City suffered another disappointing defeat on the weekend with Manchester United leaving South Wales with all three points.

Swansea again failed to test their opponents as Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United waltzed away from the Liberty Stadium with maximum points.

The loss means Swansea have taken just one point from the four games in which Bob Bradley has been in charge and they are now just one goal from the bottom of the table.

Swansea fans vented their anger at the new American owners during the loss with chants and with the disaster on the field, it made for a sour sight on Sunday afternoon.

The supporters are losing hope in the way the club is run off the field and they’re not being given much cause for optimism on it either.

Swansea look like a team destined for relegation with the team’s lack of drive and passion. Not only do the team not look bothered but they’re just not good enough either.

The Swans failed to strengthen sufficiently in the summer and more importantly failed to replace long-standing captain Ashley Williams and they are now paying the price.

Too many players are only capable of average performances at this level and it’s a lack of individual talent in the side, as well as a missing leader which could well see Swansea playing Championship football next season.

Swansea possess good players like Gylfi Sigurdsson but that counts for nothing when you have the ineffective Llorente and Borja up top, and a below average midfield featuring the likes of Wayne Routledge and Ki.

Bob Bradley will know his team are in big trouble, they are now six points from safety and play Everton and Tottenham in the next three games.

For the first time in years, hope is becoming absent at the Liberty Stadium and someone has to stand up and put that right.

Relegation would be a disaster for Swansea after all the work they have put in to get to the top flight and remain there.

It’s now up to the owners and Bob Bradley to work together to find a solution in order to put things right for the fans.
