Everton favourites Leon Osman and Kevin Campbell believe Ross Barkley has been subject to poor decision-making by his agent.

As was widely reported, Everton manager Ronald Koeman stated that Ross Barkley will be sold, and two Goodison Park heroes, Leon Osman and Kevin Campbell, believe Barkley’s agent must take some of the blame.
Speaking on ITV, 27th June just before Everton’s 1-0 win over Slovakian side Ruzomberok in the Europa League qualifying, Campbell said:
“I just worry about the representation he’s (Barkley) got because when you look at the football club, why would you want to go elsewhere?”
Campbell is very fondly remembered for his time with The Toffees, making 164 appearances and finding the net 51 times for the club.
Leon Osman is Everton through-and-through, coming through the academy at Everton and spending an entire career spanning 14 years at Goodison, first playing in the first team in 2002 before representing the blue of Merseyside an incredible 433 times, scoring 57 goals.

So both players have more than earned the right to give their say on the current speculation involving the club they each hold dear, as Osman echoed Campbell’s sentiments:
“It seems a strange time to be looking away. That’s what is mentioned as bad representation, as you would usually only advice a player to say that (Barkley wanting to be sold) once a deal is inevitable. To come out and force the issue before things are in place seems pretty reckless.”
Capped 22 times by England, Barkley is wanted by a host of the Premier League’s best clubs, with some of the country’s finest hoping to acquire the highly-rated midfielder and obtain his top form to can bolster the squad with his versatile qualities.
The disputes between Barkley, his manager and his club have been lingering for some time now though, and that top form has been buried deep beneath the surface amongst them.
