Sunderland got the better of Bradford 2-1 away from home at the Northern Commercials Stadium in League One on Saturday afternoon.
Josh Maja and Jack Baldwin scored the goals for the Black Cats, while the home side found the target through Anthony O’Connor.
The Black Cats had Max Power sent off midway through the second half, while Bradford also ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Sean Scannell in the fourth minute of injury time.
Sunderland goalkeeping coach Walker has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for Jack Ross’s side.
The former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper has praised the Sunderland fans and also the togetherness at the club.
Walker has also hailed Sunderland goalkeeper Jon Mclaughlin for saving Jack Payne’s penalty.
The win against Bradford means that the Black Cats are now third in the League One table with 23 points from 12 matches.
