Could David Moyes become the new West Ham United manager following the departure of Slaven Bilic from the London Stadium?

According to The Guardian, West Ham United will appoint David Moyes as their new manager.
It has been reported that the former Manchester United and Everton boss will be handed an initial six-month contract.
The Hammers parted company with Slaven Bilic earlier today due to a run of poor results this season which have seen the team drop down to the Premier League relegation places.

Former West Ham goalkeeper Jimmy Walker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the departure of Bilic from the London Stadium.
The 44-year-old has admitted that he is sad to see the Croatian leave the Hammers, but the Lincoln City goalkeeper coach does not think that Moyes is the right replacement.

Moyes is a very good manager, and although things have not worked out for him in his recent jobs, his extensive experience of the Premier League could at least secure West Ham their Premier League status for the 2018-19 campaign.
