The former Leeds United striker is a big fan of the current setup at Elland Road.
Former Leeds star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink offered high words of praise for the Whites, when speaking exclusively to 888 Sport, suggesting that the Premier League will benefit greatly if the west Yorkshire outfit earn promotion from the Championship this season.
Leeds are in a strong position in the Championship, and currently sit in third spot in the table, three points adrift of league leaders Norwich City, and just one point behind second placed Middlesbrough.
Marcelo Bielsa has worked wonders during his short time in charge at Elland Road, and many consider the Whites to now be the best footballing side in the division.
Hasselbaink spoke exclusively to 888 Sport about Leeds’ start to the season, and suggested that the Premier League would really benefit from having Bielsa’s side back in the top flight:
“It’s not only the exciting football that the Premier League will benefit from with Leeds but from having the whole club. They would be a big addition to the league because they are a magnificent club.”
Next up for Leeds is a home game against Bristol City on Saturday, and Bielsa’s men will be desperate for all three points, as they look to keep pace with those above them in the table.
