Leeds United’s recent performances and results in the Championship have not been great.

Leeds have not featured in the Premier League since 2004 and are playing in the Championship at the moment.
The West Yorkshire outfit narrowly failed to end up in the top six last season and are aiming for a playoff spot this campaign.

The Whites started the 2017-18 campaign strongly, but their recent results and performances have been disappointing.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are seventh in the Championship table at the moment with 23 points from 15 matches.
Leeds are two points behind Derby County, who are currently sixth in the standings and have a game in hand.

Former Leeds striker Hasselbaink has stated that the Whites need to be consistent in order to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
Hasselbaink is currently in charge of League One club Northampton Town and managed Queens Park Rangers in the Championship from December 2015 until November 2016.
“Look, the Championship is a very difficult competition,” Hasselbaink told The Express. “The club that can get promotion is the one with the best ability and the one who can stay calm for the whole period of time.
“They [Leeds] started ever so well. They’re having a difficult time. But they need consistency again and if they can get that good consistency with picking points up and working with not too much hoo-ha, then they will have a chance.”
