Tammy Abraham joined Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Tammy Abraham of Swansea City is dejected at the full time whistle after the Premier League match between Swansea City and Stoke City at Liberty Stadium on May 13, 2018 in Swansea, Wales.

Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink suggested on Sky Sports Main Event last Friday evening (7:07pm, August 31, 2018) that Tammy Abraham will be a good signing for Aston Villa.

Abraham joined Championship club Villa on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

Hasselbaink said about Abraham on Sky Sports Main Event last Friday evening (7:07pm, August 31, 2018): “He is somebody who knows where the back of the net is.

“With the Villa team who are going to play a lot in the final third of the opposition, he is going to be a force because around the box he comes alive.”

Quality footballer

Abraham is a very talented and promising young striker who has been a success in the Championship.

The 20-year-old striker scored 23 goals and provided three assists in 40 Championship starts for Bristol City during the 2016-17 campaign, according to WhoScored.

Villa are struggling at the moment, and Steve Bruce’s side need someone to score goals regularly for them this season.

Abraham is proven at the Championship level, and if the England international striker is played to his strengths, then he will score quite a number of goals for the Villans.

Villa, who reached the Championship playoff final last season, are aiming to finish in the top six of the league table yet again this campaign.
