West Bromwich Albion should consider a move for the French attacker.

West Bromwich Albion have impressed with their recent transfer business but there is still work to do to ensure Tony Pulis’s squad continues its upward trajectory.
While the Baggies now have substantial money to spend when required, that does not mean they should ignore those players soon to be free agents, with one in particular potentially perfect for The Hawthorns.
Jimmy Briand is currently on the books at French club Guingamp, for whom he has scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists in 64 appearances.
In total, Briand has 93 goals and 71 assists spread between the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 and while he is now coming towards the end of his career, he could be a canny free signing for West Brom.
The 31-year-old is predominantly a centre forward although he can also operate on the left wing if required and his experience in captaining Guingamp should not be understated.

The Frenchman would offer additional goal-scoring threat and quality to West Brom’s squad, allowing Pulis to strengthen and subsequently rotate without breaking the bank.
In an era when inflated transfer fees are the norm, a move for Briand could be West Brom’s smartest of the summer.
