The Premier League has been conducting a thorough background check amid accusations of broadcast piracy that has been aimed at Saudi PIF who would own 80 percent of Newcastle.
It’s been close to two months since Mike Ashley signed off on the deal but several lengthy delays is causing anxiety among fans of the North East club.
But according to White, the takeover will be finished soon, though Newcastle fans aren’t buying it.
