Nottingham Forest signed Barrie McKay from Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers in the summer transfer window.

Forest in the Championship in England secured the services of 22-year-old winger McKay from Scottish Premiership club Rangers in the summer.
According to BBC Sport, the Reds had to pay the Gers a transfer fee of £500,000 in order to sign the Scotland international winger.
Stewart, who was appointed the Forest goalkeeping coach in the summer following his dismissal from Rangers in March, has praised Forest for signing McKay.

“Barrie’s done really well,” Stewart told The Scottish Sun. “It’s a challenge for him but his level of performance has been really high.
“Reading between the lines, it looked as if he wasn’t in Rangers’ plans, so it was an astute move by Mark to bring him in. They like him as a player and they know how to get the best out of him.”

Stewart, now 63 years old, played for Rangers as a goalkeeper from 1980 until 1984.
The former Scotland international has a good reputation as a coach, and things are only going to improve at Forest with him part of Mark Warburton’s coaching staff.
McKay has played well for Forest so far this season and has established himself as an important player for the Reds.
The former Rangers winger has scored two goals and provided four assists in eight Championship appearances for Forest so far this campaign.
