Kristoffer Ajer has been playing well for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic so far this season.

Duffy, who started his career at Celtic but failed to break into the first team and subsequently moved to Morton before playing for Dundee and Partick Thistle, has also stated that the 19-year-old central defender is a candidate for the Young Player of the Year.
“Kristoffer Ajer has been outstanding and I see him as a candidate to be named Young Player of the Year,” Duffy wrote in The Scottish Sun.

Promising talent
Ajer is a very talented and promising young central defender who has established himself as a key player for Celtic this season.
The Norway international has featured in 17 Scottish Premiership matches for the Hoops so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The 19-year-old is still developing and improving, and working with former Liverpool and Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers at Celtic is only going to make him better.

Linked-away
Ajer has been linked with a move away from Celtic in the summer transfer window.
According to The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 72, April 1, 2018), German club Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing him in the summer (click here to read more).
