Here is how we expect Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth to line-up ahead of their Premier League meeting this weekend.

Odds: Tottenham 1/4, Draw 9/2, Bournemouth 12/1

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Bournemouth to White Hart Lane for a Saturday lunchtime Premier League encounter – in which second-placed Spurs will hope to take all three points against the Cherries in order to close the gap on leaders Chelsea at the top-flight summit.

In form Spurs head into the game knowing that they can narrow the gap at the top to four points, albeit potentially for just over 24-hours, before Chelsea and Manchester United go head-to-head on Sunday afternoon.

Despite thumping helpless Watford last time out, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is expected to make at least three changes to his starting line-up that provided the 4-0 victory over the Hornets.

The fit-again Harry Kane is fully expected to slot back into his centre-forward’s role, meaning that Vincent Janssen will return to the substitutes bench having failed to make any significant impact whilst deputising for the talismanic Kane in recent weeks.

Having missed the previous two league games, central midfield enforcer Victor Wanyama is likely to return to the starting line-up in preference to Mousa Dembele – with the talented Belgium international in line for a rest via the substitutes bench.

Perhaps the most misfortunate to miss out on a starting berth, following his outstanding showing against Watford, could be full back Kieran Trippier. Consequently, a third predicted change to Pochettino’s side could see the previously rested Kyle Walker regain his usual place at right back.

Meanwhile, opponents Bournemouth look set to name an unchanged line-up following the Cherries’ defeat to table-toppers Chelsea last weekend – meaning that £15m man Jordon Ibe will have to continue with his role on the bench.

Ahead of the trip to White Hart lane, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe will be hopeful that his troops can replicate the admirable showing seen in his side’s recent 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
