Peter Crouch took all the plaudits as Stoke City and Everton shared the Premier League points.
Stoke City forward Peter Crouch scored his 100th Premier League goal in his side’s 1-1 draw at the bet 365 Stadium, meaning that the 36-year-old is the most senior player to achieve the feat in Premier League history.

Crouch’s centennial strike arrived in the seventh minute of the encounter, following an assist from Marko Arnautovic, to give the home side the lead.
Pleasingly for many observers on social media outlet Twitter, Crouch celebrated the landmark occasion with his infamous robot routine – synonymous with the 6′ 7″ forward throughout the last decade.

Crouch’s evening was only dampened by the Everton equaliser just before half time, courtesy of a contentious own-goal from Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross, with many a Potter claiming that an original offside call should have stood and the goal disallowed.

In truth, Crouch may well have secured all three points for Stoke, but he was guilty of missing a more than decent opportunity to stretch his side’s lead before the Shawcross intervention.
Regardless, the game will be remembered for Crouch entering the Premier League 100 club – which have consisted of goals scored for Aston Villa (6), Southampton (12), Liverpool (22), Portsmouth (11), Tottenham Hotspur (12) and Stoke (37).

The veteran forward has certainly experienced an eventful career, which saw him score his first goal for non-league Dulwich Hamlet and included scoring 22 international goals from his 42 England caps, becoming one of the most endearing characters of the modern era in the process.
