Here is how we expect Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers to line-up ahead of their upcoming Championship fixture.

Leeds United welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Elland Road for an Easter Monday Championship meeting.

The game comes with just two days rest after both sides featured in competitive encounters on Friday evening – where play-off hopefuls Leeds rallied late to secure an admirable 1-1 draw with Newcastle United, whilst 16th placed Wolves endured a 2-0 defeat to table-toppers Brighton and Hove Albion.

With the short turnaround of fixtures in mind, both sides may well consider utilising their squad and making changes from their contrasting Friday fortunes.

In the most likely of line-up changes for the home side, Garry Monk looks set to recall midfielder Ronaldo Vieira – after the Leeds boss was unable to call upon the impressive 18-year-old for the trip to Newcastle due to illness.

Vieira is expected to replace Kelvin Phillips and return to the line-up to partner captain Liam Bridcutt in Monk’s midfield engine room.

Monk may give consideration to rotating his left back and in attack, with Charlie Taylor and Hadi Sakho both viable options after their cameo appearances from the substitutes bench against Newcastle.

However, perhaps the most accurate eventuality is that Vieira could be the only alteration to Leeds’ starting XI for the visit of Paul Lambert’s Wolves; with Gaetano Bernardi and Alfonso Pedraza set to retain their starting berths having been withdrawn during the second half of Friday evening’s game at St James’ Park.

Whilst Leeds emerged victorious from October’s reverse fixture – a 1-0 win courtesy of Kemar Roofe’s first Leeds goal – it is Wolves that currently possess the better run of form.

Indeed, prior to Friday’s defeat to Brighton, Lambert’s side had won five of their previous six Championship games, whilst Monk’s men are in the midst of just two victories from seven league matches.

Wolves may opt to recall forward Nouha Dicko at the expense of the misfiring Jon Dadi Bodvarsson – whilst their talisman Helder Costa could be in line for a welcome return to the side following a short injury lay-off.
