Middlesbrough fans are not impressed with the Manchester City winger after their team threw away all three Premier League points.

Middlesbrough conceded an 85th-minute Gabriel Jesus goal to hand Manchester City a late share of the points during a heated Premier League encounter at the Riverside Stadium.
The home side took the lead in the 38th minute, courtesy of a strike from former City forward Alvaro Negredo, but conceded an equaliser with just over 20 minutes remaining after Sergio Aguero converted a penalty kick.
Arsenal loanee Calum Chambers put Boro 2-1 ahead in the 77th minute before Jesus’s heroics rescued Pep Guardiola’s City from an embarrassing defeat.
However, it was the first of the Citizen’s equalisers that had Boro fans in despair – with many supporters of the Teeside club taking to social media outlet Twitter to express their disapproval towards City’s Leroy Sane.

In the eyes of many Boro observers, Sane is perceived to have dived in order to win the successfully executed spot kick, providing Aguero with his 18th league goal of the campaign and severely denting Boro’s chances of Premier League survival in the process.
Middlesbrough’s Marten de Roon was penalised for a trip on Sane, but closer inspection perhaps suggests that the City forward appeared to run into de Roon’s standing leg in search of a penalty award.

Ultimately, Boro will have to settle for the solitary point rather than the three they may feel they deserved; as Steve Agnew’s side remain in the bottom three on 28 points with just three games to play.
Here is a taste of the reaction on Twitter from Middlesbrough fans towards the penalty searching antics of Manchester City’s Leroy Sane:
