Plenty of Manchester City supporters are not at all pleased with their wide man.

Manchester City endured a humbling 2-2 draw to relegation threatened Middlesbrough, in what could be a potentially significant hit to Pep Guardiola’s side’s chances of securing a top four place at the culmination of the season.
City, who conceded the game’s opener courtesy of a strike from Boro’s previously misfiring forward and ex-Citizen Alvaro Negredo, failed to fully capitalise on Manchester United’s home draw with Swansea City earlier in the day and move one point ahead of their local rivals on 66 points with three games to play.
Against Boro, manager Guardiola opted to start with Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane on the substitutes bench in preference for Gael Clichy and Jesus Navas, with the line-up looking out of sorts amid the deployment of an unfamiliar 3-5-2 formation.

Guardiola’s choice at right wing-back, 31-year-old Jesus Navas, seemed to receive much of the focus from City fans on Twitter throughout the Riverside encounter – with a range of unforgiving observations expressed.
Navas, after joining from Sevilla in 2013, has made well over 170 appearances for City but, despite usually playing as a winger in a front three attack, has only found the net on a mere eight occasions.

The wide man put forth a disappointing display up against direct opponent George Friend and was guilty of some poor positioning in the build up to Middlesbrough’s second goal from Calum Chambers.
Fortunately for Navas, a late strike from Gabriel Jesus rescued what could prove to be a vital point – and saved the blushes for City’s under-performing stars.
Here is a taste of the Twitter reaction regarding Jesus Navas from Manchester City supporters in the aftermath of the 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough:
