Crystal Palace suffered a humbling 2-0 Premier League home defeat to Burnley, and it appears that Eagles’ fans are beginning to worry.

Goals from Burnley’s Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray handed all three vital points to Sean Dyce’s visitors, leaving Palace just seven points above the relegation zone with three games remaining.

However, fellow relegation rivals Swansea City currently have a game in hand over the Eagles and can close the gap with a victory against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

Following the defeat to Burnley, fans of the Selhurst Park club took to social media outlet Twitter to express their concern with a number of issues currently facing their side.

Reaction from Eagles supporters ranged from concerns over the present injury crisis engulfing Sam Allardyce’s defensive unit, to handing credit to another team in the relegation quagmire, Hull City, who have been rejuvenated since the arrival of manager Marco Silva in January.

Nonetheless, the overriding theme remained a plea for Manchester United to defeat Swansea and keep the Welsh club seven points behind the Eagles with the same number of fixtures remaining.
