The Crystal Palace defender has a perfect Premier League record since making his Eagles debut.

Crystal Palace’s victory over Watford means that no other Premier League side can boast a better points haul or defensive record from the last three league games.
The Eagles’ third win in a row, a 1-0 triumph over Watford, arrived courtesy of a Troy Deeney own goal and lifts Sam Allardyce’s Palace side to 16th place in the table – with 28 points from 28 games.
Crucially, form is certainly on Palace’s side, as nine of those 28 points have arrived in the past three games. To amplify the turnaround in fortunes, Palace have not conceded a single goal in any of those recent victories.

Allardyce will surely be delighted with the current run, and perhaps somewhat inspired by his decision to bring in central defender Mamadou Sakho on loan from Liverpool.
Indeed, the maximum points haul and clean sheet achievement has occurred ever since Sakho was deemed fit enough for selection.
Sakho, who was considered surplus to requirements at parent club Liverpool, made his Eagles debut as a possible catalyst at the start of Palace’s 100 per cent three-game winning run, and appears to be enjoying life at Selhurst Park with an impressive output thus far.
The admirable returns since Sakho’s introduction to the side has not gone unnoticed by Palace supporters – with many taking to social media outlet Twitter after the Watford victory in praise of the France international defender.
Reaction to Sakho’s influence on the team ranged from elation, comparisons with Scott Dann, requests to Palace owner Steve Parrish to permanently sign Sakho (with one fan even suggesting a Christian Benteke sale to fund a deal), and even an offer of fatherhood!
Here is a taste of Crystal Palace fans’ reaction to Sakho’s impact on their club’s recent run of form:
