Jesus Perez and Mauricio Pochettino have reunited for a new adventure after their heroics at Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Southampton boss helped to establish Spurs as one of Europe’s biggest and most exciting clubs throughout his five-year spell in North London.
Although he failed to win a trophy, the former Tottenham boss did solidify the Lilywhites as a regular Champions League outfit and guided them to the final of the competition in 2019.
As for the coaching side, Pochettino and his assistant Perez also helped to take a number of players – including Harry Kane – to a world-class level.
The Argentine was sacked by Tottenham 14 months ago, but he is back in football after being appointed Paris Saint-Germain’s new head coach on Saturday, with Perez returning as his number two.
Here’s how Perez reacted to the new adventure on Twitter:
A trip to Saint-Etienne on Wednesday will represent Pochettino’s first game as PSG boss and it’ll be fascinating to see how he fares.
As mentioned, he failed on the silverware front at Tottenham, something that simply won’t be tolerated in the French capital.
