Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama, reportedly wanted by West Bromwich Albion, is injured at the moment.

Wanyama is struggling with injury problems at the moment, as Tottenham challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The former Celtic defensive midfielder last played for Spurs against Crystal Palace in early November.
Perez told Football.London about Wanyama: “He is in his rehab programme and is working on the field for a few days.
“He is progressing. We don’t know how long it is going to take to be back in the team but he is on the field training. There haven’t been any setbacks.
“He had the problem and he always just needed time to get in the right direction but he is not inside, not hiding, so we will see probably in two weeks if he is ready to train or start to train.”

Linked away
Wanyama may be on the sidelines at the moment, but that has not stopped from West Brom being interested in the Kenya international defensive midfielder, according to media speculation.
According to The Daily Mail, West Brom in the Championship have made contact with Tottenham regarding the signing of the 27-year-old.
The report has claimed that Tottenham are open to listening to offers for the former Southampton star.
While Wanyama would be a very good signing for West Brom in the January transfer window in their push to win automatic promotion to the Premier League, it does not make much sense for the former Celtic star to take a step down from the top flight of English football to the second tier in the middle of the season.
