Jesse Marsch has given a triple injury boost to his press conference that Leeds could have Jack Harrison, Raphinha and Patrick Bamford available to face Brighton. A huge clash for Leeds, in their fight against the drop.

Leeds currently sit in 18th place with Burnley level with the Whites, points wise. However, the Clarets have a much superior goal difference. Leeds really need to pick up a result and they have a chance to do so on Sunday.

Against Chelsea, both Harrison and Raphinha came off with injuries – while Dan James was sent off for a straight red card. He joins Luke Ayling in being suspended until the start of 2022-23 – Premier League, or Championship.

However, Marsch finally delivered some good news on Friday for Leeds fans – confirming both Raphinha and Harrison were likely to be available on Sunday. Meanwhile, also saying Bamford could be fit again for Leeds.

“Harrison contusion looks positive. Training tomorrow andready for Sunday. Rapha fine. Patrick too early to tell. Evaluate that next few days,” Marsch told his press conference, in what could be a triple Leeds boost.

Triple Leeds injury boost for Brighton: Marsch has good news

It is a huge boost, in the midst of much darkness for Leeds fans. With James out suspended, there was huge concern that Raphinha and Harrison could also be missing on Sunday – but both are now likely to be starting the game.

Meanwhile, a return, even to the bench for Bamford is also a big step in the right direction. If Leeds can even get 20 minutes out of Bamford on Sunday, it would be enormous. Leeds must get a good result, and this is good news.
