Jesse Marsch has admitted that Brenden Aaronson is out of form for Leeds United.
Aaronson seemed to have adapted to the Premier League instantly after joining from RB Salzburg in the summer.
It seemed like a Marsch masterstroke to sign his fellow countryman, who was a pressing monster and showed signs of becoming an output machine in the future.
Against his side’s 3-0 thrashing of Chelsea in particular, Brenden Aaronson was undeniably exceptional, embodying Leeds United’s relentless energy that makes them such a challenge to face.
However, it would be fair to say that after a strong start to life at Leeds, Aaronson seems to have a hit a wall in terms of his displays.
While it was expected that the £40,000-a-week ace would kick on and proceed to have a superb season, his performance have endured a gradual decline.
As Leeds drew 2-2 to West Ham United recently, it was Brenden Aaronson who lost possession for Gianluca Scamacca’s eventual corker of a strike.
The main man at the club has now had his say on the midfielder’s disappointing displays.
Jesse Marsch admits Brenden Aaronson is out of form for Leeds

Jesse Marsch has admitted that Brenden Aaronson is not in his best vein of form, ever since starting on fire for Leeds United after his arrival.
“Yeah, I mean, I hugged him [Brenden Aaronson] when he came off and then I went to him after the match [against West Ham]. I feel for him right now because for whatever reason, he’s a little down,”
“You can see it. Obviously, he puts a lot of responsibility on himself. One of the greatest things I’ve known about him is his ability to believe in himself and his ability to play with fearlessness.”
“So, we need him to get back to that. The league is tough and he has been identified as a player that’s important for us and [he is] physically struggling to insert himself into matches.”
“But he shouldn’t be fazed. He should continue to believe in himself and push himself. So, that will certainly be an emphasis within him”, Marsch told Leeds Live.
While Jesse Marsch has acknowledged that Brenden Aaronson is out of form for Leeds United, the fact that he is clearly supportive of him shows what a brilliant man-manager he is.
