The 19-year-old left Liverpool this summer to join up with the Hornets, and was all smiles as he started pre-season.
Jerome Sinclair celebrates scoring the first goal for England
New Watford player Jerome Sinclair has made it clear how much he is looking forward to his first pre-season with the Hornets, by posting an Instagram picture and message underlining his happiness.
Sinclair will surely be looking to kick on with his professional career having made the switch from Liverpool.
The former Liverpool striker was very highly thought of at Anfield, but decided to leave the Merseyside giants for Vicarage Road, where it is expected he will be given greater access to the first team.
The two clubs haggled over a fee for the 19-year-old, given Liverpool’s entitlement for a development fee, and just when it looking like a tribunal would be necessary, a £4 million settlement was agreed, according to the Echo.
It meant that Sinclair and Watford could start pre-season in North London wholly focused on the player’s development, and it is no surprise to see the former England Under-17 forward so excited for the coming campaign.

Though Sinclair made his Liverpool debut in 2012, becoming the club’s youngest ever player in the process, he saw precious few opportunities since, turning out just four more times for the Reds, two of which were in the league. Last season he only made two appearances, in the FA Cup, and though he scored his first professional goal against Exeter, Sinclair was no closer to a the Premier League squad.
Sinclair will join a forward line heavily dependent on Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney last season, with young players Matej Vydra and Obbi Oulare competing with the English youngster and new arrival Isaac Success as backup.
He will now be hoping to catch the eye of new Hornets manager Walter Mazzari, with Watford preparing for their second season in the top flight.
