As Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal prepare to lock horns, former Spurs man Jenas predicts a tough afternoon for the Germany defender.

With Tottenham Hotspur heading to Arsenal today for one of the most highly anticipated north London derbies of recent times, there has been plenty of pre-match analysis doing the rounds.
From historical statistics to tactical comparison, almost every possible facet of both sides’ games has been highly scrutinised in a bid to try and predict how the Premier League match at the Emirates may pan out.
Former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas is a man with extensive knowledge of facing Arsenal, having played in 10 north London derbies and lining up against the Gunners a total of 20 times in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
In his pre-match column in the Daily Mail, the 35-year-old has outlined several positions where he feels key battles will won and lost in the match, pitting one player against another.
Jenas appears to have identified Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi as somewhat of a weak link and expects the Germany international to be given a torrid time by Harry Kane.
“I do think Mustafi is questionable and I think Kane loves to play against him,” wrote Jenas. “He bullies him, he’s better than him in the air. This should be a tough afternoon for Mustafi.”
Tottenham, currently third in the Premier League table, are hoping to pull six points clear of the Gunners, while a maiden north London derby win for Unai Emery will see his fifth-placed side draw level on points with their rivals.
