Vertonghen featured for Tottenham in the Premier League game against Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Sunday evening.
The 30-year-old central defender started the North London derby and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Spurs won 2-0.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jenas was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Vertonghen.
