The Tottenham Hotspur full-back has been excellent since the turn of the year.

Jermaine Jenas arrives at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards at SSE Arena on October 21, 2018 in London, England.

Jermaine Jenas suggested that he has been really impressed with Tottenham ace Danny Rose during the second half of the season, when writing his column for the Daily Mail.

The 28-year-old has been a regular starter for Spurs since the turn of the year, and he has been a vital player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, keeping the ever consistent Ben Davis out of the team in the process.

It has been quite the turnaround from Rose, after he was heavily linked with an exit from Tottenham last summer.

According to the Sun, Manchester United were keen on signing the Spurs star, but alas, a move to Old Trafford failed to materialise for the England international.

And Jenas suggested that Rose has been one of Tottenham’s best players since January, when writing his column for the Daily Mail:

“I would have no worries about Rose. In the second half of the season, he’s been up there with Moussa Sissoko as Spurs’ best player.”

Rose’s current contract (£60,000 per week according to Spotrac) with Spurs runs until the summer of 2021, and judging by the way in which he has performed this season, Pochettino will surely be keen to keep the Englishman until at least the expiration of his deal.

And should he be part of the team that beats Liverpool in the Champions League final, he will undoubtedly go down as a Tottenham legend.
