Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 victory against their rivals.

Jermaine Jenas has taken to Twitter to suggest that Spurs were more than deserving winners in their Carabao Cup quarter-final victory, before reminding Daniel Levy that he needs to do everything he can to keep Mauricio Pochettino at the club.
It was a superb performance from the visitors as they got some revenge for their Premier League defeat at Arsenal earlier in the campaign. A first-half goal from Son Heung-min was followed by a delicious chip after the break from Dele Alli.
The win leaves Tottenham in the last four of the competition for the first time since the 2014/15 campaign. And it was obviously a positive performance given the speculation that has been around since Jose Mourinho left Manchester United.
The Telegraph is one of the many outlets to report that Pochettino is United’s number one target for the end of the season, and they suggest that they are willing to pay a world-record fee to lure the Spurs boss away.

And Jenas could not resist sending a message to Levy following Tottenham’s brilliant win at the Emirates. He lauded Spurs’ display against the Gunners, and clearly feels that losing Pochettino would be a terrible blow.
It is no surprise that most deem Pochettino to be vital to be Spurs’ fortunes, and they have now taken a step closer to potentially bagging their first trophy under the Argentinian.
