Tottenham Hotspur lost against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday.
Jermaine Jenas has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Borussia Dortmund’s win against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.
Dortmund got the better of Tottenham 2-1 away from home at White Hart Lane in the second leg of the Europa League last-16 tie.
The result means that the Bundesliga outfit have progressed to the quarter-finals of the prestigious European competition 5-1 on aggregate.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jenas was impressed with the performance of Dortmund, and he was also pleased to see Spurs fans give their support to the players throughout the 90 minutes.
Tottenham were totally outclassed by Dortmund over the two legs, although some will point out that head coach Mauricio Pochettino did not field his best available players in the first leg in Germany last week.
The North London outfit will probably not be too disappointed with their failure to progress in the Europa League, as they are very much in the running for the Premier League title this season.
