Jermaine Jenas predicts Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will face each other in the Premier League this afternoon.

Former Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest midfielder Jermaine Jenas has told GQ that the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur this weekend will end in a draw.

Arsenal and Tottenham will face each other at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will have home advantage for the match, but Spurs have a better team and are also in better form than their North London rivals at the moment.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jenas has predicted the match to end in a 2-2 draw.

Jenas has also outlined how Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger can stop Tottenham striker Harry Kane this afternoon.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and is likely to lead the line for Spurs against the Gunners having recovered from injury.

The England international has scored eight goals in the Premier League for Mauricio Pochettino’s side so far this season and will determined to find the back of the net against the Gunners this afternoon as well.

“I’m going to sit on the fence, because I think it will be a high-scoring draw,” Jenas told GQ. “I am going for 2-2. It will be a good game, a high-scoring game… but I can’t see a winner.”

“Whenever I have watched Harry and he hasn’t been at his best, it was because he wasn’t getting the support from midfield,” added Jenas when asked how Arsenal can stop Kane.

“He functions best when Dele or Christian Eriksen are on form, making space and creating chances for him. The way to stop Harry is to kill off the supply lines to him.

“Harry is as clinical as any striker in the Premier League, but if he doesn’t get the chances he can’t take them.”
