Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker-Peters was handed a rare start for Mauricio Pochettino’s side today.
Walker-Peters was given a rare start for Spurs at right-back, and he shone in his side’s 5-4 victory.
The youngster claimed two assists during the thrilling contest, as he enhanced his reputation.
And Jenas was full of praise for the Tottenham prospect’s performance, with his energy catching the eye.
Jenas said: “Kyle Walker-Peters has been unbelievable today. He’s come in, always ready, and him and Danny Rose in wide areas have been very energetic.”
Walker-Peters has often been overlooked this season, with Mauricio Pochettino generally picking Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier ahead of him.
However, Walker-Peters’ display against Leicester may have pushed him up the pecking order for next campaign.
Tottenham had actually looked like losing the match, when they slipped 3-1 behind, but Pochettino’s men mounted a credible comeback to pick up the three points.
The victory ensured that Tottenham would finish in third place in the Premier League table.
