Tottenham Hotspur drew with Real Madrid in the Champions League this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur have played out a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid away from home at the Santiago Bernabeu this evening.
The Premier League club headed into Champions League Group H match as the underdogs, but they deservedly picked up a point from the encounter in Madrid.
Spurs took the lead in the 28th minute when Raphael Varane scored an own goal, but Madrid restored parity just before the half-time interval through a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty.
Although Zinedine Zidane’s side stepped up the pressure in the second half, Tottenham held on and deservedly picked up a point.

Jermaine Jenas was following the match, and the former Tottenham midfielder was pleased with the final result.
The former Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United star has praised Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and midfielder Harry Winks on social networking site Twitter.
While Lloris made some wonderful saves, 21-year-old midfielder Winks produced a very composed and mature display.
The England international started the match at the Santiago Bernabeu and played for the entire 90 minutes.
