Jermaine Jenas has taken to Twitter to react after Arsenal crashed out of the Europa League, following a 0-0 draw against Villarreal.

Mikel Arteta’s side could’ve progressed with a 1-0 win, on what was an agonising evening for the north Londoners.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hit the post twice, as the Gunners simply couldn’t break down Unai Emery’s side.

Arsenal will now end the season with no silverware, as well as no European football for the first time in many, many years.

After full-time, former Tottenham maestro Jermaine Jenas took to Twitter in an attempt to wind Arsenal fans up about the result.

The BT Sport pundit tweeted ‘good ebening’ in reference to Emery’s frequently used greeting of choice.

Jenas also posted a GIF of Kevin Hart laughing, suggesting he took great pleasure in watching Tottenham’s north London rivals flounder.

Spurs supporters surely enjoyed last night’s result, but it’s important to remember that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Tottenham didn’t even reach the Europa League semi-final after throwing away a 2-0 lead against Dinamo Zagreb.

They also aren’t doing too well in the Premier League.

Spurs currently sit sixth, despite looking like they could be champions back at the start of the season.

They also have plenty to worry about in regards to who will be holding the reins next season – both north London outfits are in a strange situation.

Jenas can laugh all he wants, but it’s worth remembering that Arsenal and Tottenham are in the same boat, with many issues to sort out.
