Jermaine Jenas suggested on BT Sport 3 on Tuesday evening (September 27, 2016) that he was not impressed with Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen’s performance against CSKA Moscow.

Janssen, who joined Tottenham from Dutch club AZ in the summer transfer window, featured in the Champions League Group E game against CSKA away from home in Russia.

The 22-year-old Netherlands international striker started the match and played for 67 minutes, as Spurs won 1-0.

Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the game at Stadion CSKA Moskva in the 71st minute.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jenas was following the match, and he was not impressed with the performance of Janssen.

Speaking on BT Sport 3 on Tuesday evening (September 27, 2016) following the live coverage of the game between CSKA and Tottenham, Jenas said about the Dutchman: “Janssen again today, didn’t exactly shine, I don’t feel. We are still waiting…”

“His hold-up game is second to none,” added the former Newcastle United man. “He is bringing people into play, but obviously you want him to start scoring goals.”
