Jermaine Jenas has questioned Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez while watching him in action against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has asked whether Liverpool and Uruguay international striker Darwin Nunez is a natural goalscorer.
Jenas made the comments while watching Nunez in action for Liverpool against Wolves away from home in the Premier League today.
In the 65th minute, Nunez had a chance to score for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Jermaine Jenas on Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez
Joe Gomez fired the ball across the six-yard box, but Nunez could not get it to.
The 24-year-old striker had replaced Cody Gakpo in the 56th minute.

While reacting to Nunez not taking that chance, Jenas noted, as quoted on BBC Sport: “This is the one conversation we keep having about Darwin Nunez.
“Is he a natural goal scorer or not? You would think he’d be there, but he just switched off.”
Darwin Nunez will come good for Liverpool
In our view, Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez will eventually come good for the Reds.
Yes, the 24-year-old does not always take his chances.
And yes, the striker also makes some poor decisions and is not always very composed in his finishes.
But, Nunez has pace and gets into good positions on the pitch.
The main problem with the striker is that he is not taking the chances that he is getting.
We believe that once Nunez starts scoring, the floodgates will open.
