Tottenham Hotspur were beaten by Inter Milan in the Champions League last night.

Ex-Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas was a guest on BT Sport last night, and criticised Mauricio Pochettino for making a defence-minded substitution in the second half against the Italians.
Spurs totally dominated for the first three quarters of the game, and should have really been more than one goal in front of the Serie A outfit.
Tottenham started the game with two holding midfielders in Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele, but Pochettino reverted to a three in the middle after 72 minutes, bringing on Harry Winks for Erik Lamela.
And Jenas was highly critical of that move.
The former Spurs midfielder told BT Sport how the change by Poch invited more pressure from Inter in the final 10 minutes:

“They went back to three in middle and it became disjointed again. Sometimes football gets you like this. You think you’ve hit rock bottom and then you realise no. I think this is one of the lowest points Mauricio has found himself as a Tottenham manager.”
Next up for Tottenham in a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday, and after losing three consecutive games, Pochettino’s men will be desperate for all three points against the Seagulls.
